Every popular review on this damn site is corny and gay like this, why?
>>
Who cares? They're not even real people.
>>
Because it's a fucking social media website first
>>
Just stop going there. You can just stop going there I'm pretty sure.
>>
There needs to be organised pushback against this faggotry. Look how they’ve massacred what used to be such a great website.

Is that letter box? i just go there to log what movies i watch because sometimes I forget if I've seen something just going by the title. Why would you even read the reviews?

Because it's tumblr for movies duh. Attracts women/midwits like flies to shit
>>
if you use that site, you’re a faggot. so don’t come over here complaining about it

Letterboxd sucks.
I had a rym for years. Once I rated 2k movies I decided to stop completely. It was a good run to learn and think through my opinions, but I don’t need it anymore.
Online reviews have turned into something gross and childish. Happy to not be a part of that world anymore.
Last thing: I remember back then, maybe 2015, these sites were good for finding obscure movies and pushing you to explore. Now it feels almost the opposite. There is a cabal of “right” movies that every cinephile is supposed to like.

I will never make an account there because of reviews like that, but I really like the way the site is structured. It's polished and just works.
Soon™ I will instead have a scaruffi-esque HTML site where I can put all my media recs and opinions. If I get around to learning how.

[popular thing] is always filled with reddit-tier female brained dimwits. Move to alphabetized index cards if you don't want to see normalfags.

there was a curious amount of milk in this movie.
