>>216021080I haven't watched this series but in >>216021212case, the old Hong Kong flicks had stunt coordinators/choreographers/actual martial artists play the roles instead of just whomever's the big lead in cinema, so they already know how to block out a fight, take bumps, and do stunts without needing 6 months of conditioning and coaching. And sometimes, in rare cases, the MC is played by someone who can also act decently. Western cinema casts big names first and worries about the training later, which usually ends up like shit so you have like 3090124014 microcuts during fight scenes because they're shit. In rare cases you get directors and actors dedicated to making it look cool (like Hayden/Mcgregor in the prequels, or the Wick movies).
