It ended in the worst possible way, the weirdness was growing and getting interesting and then it's gone, no explanation. It felt like it could have been happening in the same world as any of the Alien movies. And they turned Mother into Lamea, which if you dig enough is the name of an ancient evil goddess.

I miss the show.But honestly, it kinda went to shit once they destroyed the ark.Killing off knight-mommy basically removed last character I had any attachment towards.Chances are next season would have just been more mystery box stuff, with a total lack of the aspects of the setting that were actually interesting or any likable characters to actually attach to.

I gotta be honest, the lore dump with grandmother and the kids turning into fish people was very sloppy and overall the last ep was kind of frustrating even if you didn't know it was cancelled. not a lot of interesting stuff revealed. the video message on the card showing the person turing themself into a tree was obvious and didn't need to be explained. the final shot though was pure kino though
