What did I think of it?
>>216026842Its a good movie for its target audience but you are not part of it any more. You can appreciate the work that went into it but you also see the flaws and now you move on.
Where does the whole DEH meme come from anyway. I don’t remember voldy yelling that
hairy plopper and the bussy of M E N
only the first 2 were good

>>216027051>he didn’t watch the third movie. Shame. It’s literally the PEAK of the franchise. The empire strikes back of Harry potter

>>216027398>posts a low iq tranny basedjak >does not offer a rebuttal How do I know ur Indian
>>2160271534 is the peak of the franchise. 3 is one of the good ones but falls apart completely in the third act. It is hugely overrated by hipsters for it's slick cinematography.
>>216026842You thought that was an absolute waste of 19 hours of your life spent watching the dullest franchise in the history of movie franchises. Seriously each episode following the boy wizard and his pals from Hogwarts Academy as they fight assorted villains has been indistinguishable from the others. Aside from the gloomy imagery, the series’ only consistency has been its lack of excitement and ineffective use of special effects, all to make magic unmagical, to make action seem inert.Perhaps the die was cast when Rowling vetoed the idea of Spielberg directing the series; she made sure the series would never be mistaken for a work of art that meant anything to anybody?just ridiculously profitable cross-promotion for her books. The Harry Potter series might be anti-Christian (or not), but it’s certainly the anti-James Bond series in its refusal of wonder, beauty and excitement. No one wants to face that fact. Now, thankfully, they no longer have to.>a-at least the books were good though"No!"The writing is dreadful; the book was terrible. As I read, I noticed that every time a character went for a walk, the author wrote instead that the character "stretched his legs."I began marking on the back of an envelope every time that phrase was repeated. I stopped only after I had marked the envelope several dozen times. I was incredulous. Rowling's mind is so governed by cliches and dead metaphors that she has no other style of writing. Later I read a lavish, loving review of Harry Potter by the same Stephen King. He wrote something to the effect of, "If these kids are reading Harry Potter at 11 or 12, then when they get older they will go on to read Stephen King." And he was quite right. He was not being ironic. When you read "Harry Potter" you are, in fact, trained to read Stephen King.
>>216027051This, Hermione was the hottest in those
i hated how the cast wore wizard robes less and less as the series progressedthey're fucking wizards not muggles stop dressing like them
>>216027051The first 6 actually
>>216027051this. chris columbus is goat. fuck muddle clothes
>>216026927>I don’t remember voldy yelling thatThis guy didn't even watch the movies then came to a Harry Potter thread to prove that... The nerve of some fucking people
>>216027051I don't know which was worse for the series, losing Chris Colombus or Richard Harris dying. I'm sad we were robbed of having all movies directed by the former and having a shitty Dumbledore replacement on the latter.
>>216028532There was some stupid controversy when the movies were coming out with the robes feeling too "cultish" so they cut back on them, also the change in directors probably didn't help.
>>216026842Harry Potter was like a celebrity in the magical world. He should have been able to score with chicks easily but he never did? Why?
>>216026927>yellingSaying calmly
>>2160271533 tonally felt so off, it's too dark for the entire movie. I like in 2 it had a mix of warmness and darkness to it.
>>216029117I thought he had an asian and a ginger as his love interests?
>>216029236Only 2 and they are like used goods? Ginny was ruined by bbc.
>>216026842>If I were still a child I would have thought these movies were great
>>216027125I'm gonna marathon the first two over Christmas, wish they would release them faster so I could do the whole series but they're doing one a month.
>>216029117he scored with Ginny in Book 6
>>216026927Movie 5, Voldy dueling with Dumbledore, Ralph Fiennes went big ham with the noises
