It's insane how terrible Dexter got. The first 4 seasons are so good. By the end of season 8 Dexter is such a pathetic unlikable worm and nothing is interesting or makes sense. All the charm got sucked out.New Blood was insane. Dexter is so insanely pathetic. All the character growth is gone. It's like a blank slate of just some schizo retard. The symbolic inner monologue and talking to Harrison got replaced by genuine hallucinations of Deb acting as a real ghost haunting him. That entire plot line with his son showing up from nowhere and all the retarded shit that happens with him. What the fuck were they thinking.Watch the first season of Dexter where it's all fun and it's cinematic and engaging, then look at New Blood.
