>>216028168This is hard to say because its so pathetic and silly how im talking about a childrens show. But they stopped trying to even tell a story. The last few seasons before it got cancelled had ZERO story arcs spanning the season, zero dynamics or character arcs on the team, totally flat studio lighting, no overall goals or aspirations per character, no motive for the villains, each episode was a one and done villain of the week following a strict formula. And ON TOP OF THAT they netuered the martial arts and action to the point it was all boring as fuck. If we look at SPD, since thats the OP image, or even Lightspeed Rescue, there are interpersonal dynamics on the team, villains with fleshed out motives, and season spanning sub plots that get resolved. The action in SPD was getting bad and relying on explosions too much but it objectively had a story. Later seasons had no story and werent even trying.
