>Cruise receives honorary Oscar
Why couldn't he win a real Oscar?
>>
He's not a good actor. He's been in one good movie. ONE
>>
>>216029846
Which one is that
>>
>>216029869
The Mission Impossible where he did that thing on the red bike
>>
>>216029869
Valkyrie. I would say risky business but that's not a good movie, just one of my favorites

>Why couldn't he win a real Oscar?

>I will never win an Oscar and do you know why? First of all, because I'm not Jewish. Secondly, because I make too much money for those old farts in the Academy. Thirdly, and most importantly, because I don't give a fuck.
-Tom Cruise

I saw this on the news the other day. Since when they handle "honorary Oscars" outside Oscar season? I thought that even if they wanted to honor him or something they would wait for the Academy Awards ceremony?
>>

But he has a black son?
>>
>>216029486
He almost did for Magnolia, then he stopped trying.
>>
>>216029486
He has focused in making action and sci-fi successful movies not dramatic roles. Nobody is going to win an Oscar for those movies. Now that he is older he can do more dramatic roles and be a candidate for them.

For example Brendan Fraser always did adventure and comedic movies and never was talked to win the Oscar, then he did The Whale, a very dramatic movie and he won it.
