>Pluribus debuted with a Rotten Tomatoes score of 100% and maintained it through the show's second week, when episode 3 was dropped after the two-episode premiere. However, now, a negative review has brought the show's approval rating down to 99%. Hannah Brown of The Jerusalem Post is the outlier, saying that Pluribus is "not worth watching."

>"I can't remember when a show received such uniformly rapturous reviews, part of which I think can be attributed to the fact that it was created by Vince Gilligan," says Brown. "It's certainly a striking idea, but in practice, it isn't nearly as interesting as it is on paper. The show is incredibly slow-paced, with awkward dialogue that makes its points over and over."

>"Pluribus wants to tell us that being anxious, doubtful, discontented, and selfish is what makes us human, and that taking it all away would destroy us. If you can understand that message already, you might want to skip the series," concludes Brown. Other reviewers, however, believe the series contains more nuance.

>t being anxious, doubtful, discontented, and selfish is what makes us human
That's what makes you a leftist, which is the opposite of human.

She's right about the writing being slow and repetitive
But she only hates it because she's an israeli jew

she ain't wrong. I saw first ep and half of the second and most of the stuff that was happening on screen was filler. On every level. Not needed scenes, not needed shots in scenes and also shots lasting too long for no reason other than the padding. Opening sequence of ep2 is just ridiculously long for absolutely no reason

Reviewer doesn’t understand that Gilligan, first and foremost, makes genre pictures. Any ‘message’ evolves incidentally. BB/BCS are crime thrillers, Pluribus is a love story
>>
>>216033579
zero reason to watch this 'live' just wait for the show to be over so you can enjoy the story at your pace without enduring Vince's 20 minute montages of nothing happening and constantly edging you for answers to basic premises

>I see that some users didn't highly rate the show that panders to me so here's a 10 to counteract that
Pathetic
