Why won't they stop making slop?
>>
slop consumers are still the only ones spending money on movies. The slop just isn't even passable anymore.

Translop isn't fooling anyone.

Because entertainment has devolved into propaganda, pure and simple.

competence crisis, DEI, too many women in power positions. they still have Kamalacore slop in the pipeline set to be released and everyone's panicking because they've fully lost the plot. needs a full scale collapse and revolution to purge the scum from the system.

They made a lot of propaganda while the government was giving them unlimited funding, and because they're very greedy, they want to get even more by selling the propaganda.

I suppose the problem is that since pretty much everything is now filmed and projected digitally; it all just becomes "content" as if you're watching YouTube in public. I remember seeing Pan's Labrinth at the cinema nearly 20-years ago and the film reel got jammed and the frame melted on screen in front of the audience; that was part of the magic of movies right there.

Would it matter? You're not going to go watch the good shit anyway.

Sometime in the ‘10s Hollywood started putting non-defamation clauses in every level of contracts, which means you breech contract and forfeit all earnings if you say “hey this isn’t working” or “that’s a bad idea” or “wow that sucked.” They did this because once social media went mainstream (2007) Hollywood was obsolete and everything since has been a performance to pretend otherwise so as many jews could get golden parachutes as possible

You see, in 2008 Barack Hussein Obama became president and started a money laundering operation through USAID. He used the laundered money to pay off entertainment companies to implement DEI policies.

The USAID money hasn’t run out yet.

What was so bad in 1997?
>>
>>216040289
All the goated 98 and 99 shit was being filmed

Examples?

1997 feels weak because the late 90s boom was in production.
In 97 alone you had:
- Saving Private Ryan (filming)
- The Truman Show (filming)
- Big Lebowski (filming)
- Thin Red Line (filming)
- American History X (filming)
- Blade (filming)
- Pi (filming)

And for 1999:
- Matrix (pre-pro, fight training)
- Fight Club (pre-pro)
- Eyes Wide Shut (still shooting)
- Sixth Sense (script sold)
- Magnolia (being written)
- Being John Malkovich (pre-pro)
- Office Space (early production)
- Iron Giant (animation)

1997 wasn’t bad. It was the pressure plate under two gold-mine years.

Capeshit ruined it all. Now most people dont even pay attention to movies. Just shows

All of the perverts, freaks, and weirdos were #metoo'd out of Hollywood. Now all that's left are bland normalfags. Any normalfags have never, ever made anything worth a shit.
