We already have some notable frauds having movies made about them, such as Frank Abagnale from “Catch Me If You Can” (2002)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catch_Me_If_You_Can
And a depiction of Jean Claude Romand in “The Adversary” (2002)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Adversary_(film)
But what about more recent examples?
In 2023, there was a guy in the US who basically fit the bill (no pun intended)

https://www.boston25news.com/news/local/report-days-before-rick-kamal-killed-his-dover-family-his-wifes-life-insurance-policy-changed/CADFFEYRPNGNLMP7UTWLR7G2VA/
Tl;dw // Tl; dr
>Rakesh “Rick” Kamal had a $5 million mansion in Massachusetts with 21 rooms
>this included a movie theatre and a spa too
>he had a wife and 18 year old daughter
>Rakesh worked for Harvard university from 2015 - 2019 and his wife graduated from there as well
>Rakesh faced financial ruin and an upcoming eviction but chose to not disclose this fact to his family
>he faced business failure, bankruptcy, on top of eviction
>he lost his job at Harvard in 2019 and also was not forthcoming about this with his family either
>he started missing out on mansion payments and made lots of excuses when pressed on it, etc
>despite this, he still openly planned on buying a $16.5 Million dollar mansion out of state with his wife being none the wiser
>starts to owe his own brother tons of money - hundreds of thousands
>his wife started getting suspicious at some point
>soon he mentally lost it
>switches life insurance policy from his immediate family to his brother (I suppose he felt bad about all the money he was owed)
>he ended up purchasing an unregistered Glock
>he proceeded to murder suicide himself and his whole family
This happened in one of the most elite neighborhoods in the US

A movie about this fuck up would be interesting, in a dark way. Also RIP to his family that he was deceiving

>>
>>216038145

Most people like this like the Jean Claude guy I mentioned in my OP usually rationalize it as “oh, if I get caught then they’ll have to live the rest of their lives in shame knowing their dad was a fake”
Jean is still alive, the French government let him off pretty easy despite all the murder and theft he did

He was a coward
Bitch made

I worked with an Indian guy in a wagie job we all called “Ricky” because some southern guy that worked there couldn’t pronounce his name properly and stuck with that
He was a cool dude, a lot better than that fag in the op

Cultural. They're extremely patriarchal and obsessed with status.
In his mind losing his status is like being turned into a dalit overnight, even worse his entire family turned into dalits.
He couldn't bear it.
>>
>>216038312
That’s interesting, because according to Hinduism if you “ever cross the sea” (ie leave India) you lose all caste and status, making one WORSE than even a Dalit or Shudra
Like most religious people though, the conveniently ignore that and just do whatever the fuck they want

as far as you know
what's he up to now?
>>

sounds like white lotus season 3 almost.
What about those other Indian kids who murder suicide there family for no reason?
Also the movie The Seventh Continent (1989) is similar

Are you talking about this queer?
This happened in Markham Ontario, Menhaz Zaman, who also faked going to college and then killed his family. He was known as the Bangladeshi discord killer:

>Markham quadruple murder suspect writes about killing family in online game

>The man accused of killing four people inside a Markham home posted messages about the murders in an online multi-player game, shortly after the killings took place, according to a CityNews source.

>The chilling messages — obtained by CityNews — show a conversation between the 23-year-old murder suspect, Menhaz Zaman, and an another online gamer as they played an adventure fantasy game called ‘Perfect World Void.’

>According to the screenshots, the accused writes about killing four family members –- his mother, grandmother, sister and father.

>The source tells CityNews Zaman would “troll around about this for years – so no one believed him.”

>Zaman would talk about feeling depressed and dropping out of university.

>“I started getting depressed, became an atheist, and ultimately created this plan,” he wrote.

>“ … I don’t want my parents to feel the shame of having a son like me.”

>“I know it sounds confusing but what’s done is done and what had been planned has been concluded,” Zaman also wrote.

>He also posted images of the murder scene.

>“First mom then granny then sister and lastly dad,” he wrote.

>“I was shaking the entire day.”

>The conversation ends when Zaman wrote “the police are here, goodbye.”

He got 40 years with parole after

If you saw this it turns out the guy who wrote the memoir was lying. Then another guy came forward and said it was his story and the author stole it but most people seem to think he's lying too.
