Hey, guys!
>>216043609That's what happens when you carry a show entirely on your shoulders
>>216044487fuck off you faggot ass Gregghead. No one wants to hear from a guy who refuses to hear the truth about Star Trek 4. He's lucky New is paying him any screentime
>>216044724The Star Trek issue was settled by Nicholas Meyer in a court of law. Gregg won
>hey, guys
>>216044877Frog 'fren' people don't like this show. Go away.
>>216044853Are you deaf or retarded by chance? He actually proved Tim/New's side was right, don't remember your loser idol Gregg having to be leave the courtroom? Some so called movie expert!
>>216044905what show

Who's everyone's favourite member of Dekkar? I'm a Manuel guy myself personally
I still think the Amato Group had New's son killed.

I can't believe Orkin fired their employee for appearing on "On Cinema At The Cinema". He got rid of the rat problem Gregg created and had some champagne off the job. He also saved Mark's life!
Is that the guy who fired Ant-Man from Baskin?
>>216045070
>>216045346Yes and he didn't have to pay to get the role, unlike certain other people
>>216045079my condolences to him
The new season sucks. Just fyi. But you have to trust the process. What's the story about the "Sizzler lawsuit" and why is Joe involved?
>>216042943>gets sick from truffle oil poisoningYeah, fuck you gregg
>>216045943He ruined the 6 Bag theater experience
>>216045006For me it's tim heidecker jr. You could just tell that foetus had some rizz fr
>>216042943Code status?
>>216045997>"Screw you Mister President! You're the ribbon... the reason we are on this mess."
>>216045814>What's the story about the "Sizzler lawsuit" and why is Joe involved?in the summer recap Joe was spotted with Toni at a Sizzler's so he's suing them for participating in adultery or something. I agree it's a weak season so far, but hopefully the Oscar special is worth it.
>>216046119Ah, okay! Thx. Didn't Axe fuck her too? I missed that whole saga. It's probably why he distrusts Joe despite Joe being the only friend he can trust. There's levels to this kino.
>>216043609I think so, he used to be able to do it but never does as neil hamburger or on on cinemahttps://youtu.be/bE0ZwfU4rCA
i watched up til season 3 of On Cinema and i didnt understand it. i couldnt snatch "The Appeal"
>>216046203yeah Axiom fucked her a few seasons back, or maybe it was Manuel can't remember. Joe was one of the last people Tim seemed to have a decent relationship with but the last couple seasons they set up a subtle Joe is an alcoholic arc culminating with him storming out at the end of the Oscar special seemingly realizing how low he's sunk, so I think they're setting him up to be an antagonist for a bit. but all of these guys end up back in eachother's orbits one way or another.
>>216046333>subtle Joe is an alcoholic arcThey already did that storyline with Tim and Teri Newman (which she fucking knocked it out of the park). Obviously a closet drunk from the film Tim Heidecker made. Buy it took them like 3 seasons to finally realize it. That's why this show is kino.
One of the goat comedy albums of all time, opening for Tenacious D and basically holding them hostage with his jokes about britney spears and the red hot chili peppers
>>216046394yeah the Tim/Toni alcoholic arc was executed better. I read somewhere that it was actually Joe's idea for his own character to be an alcoholic because he didn't want to keep playing the "clean" character, so they just rolled with it, it's not really focused on but you can pick up on it here and there. I'm looking forward to Joe being a foil to Tim in whatever they're building up to with this lawsuit stuff. this season feels like a lot of set up, which is maybe why it isn't as funny as usual, hopefully it pays off. I have faith.
>>216046314I watched religiously until they locked it behind a paywall. Now I just catch the Oscar specials half an hour in once a year when someone finally decides to stream it somewhere.
>>216046500Yeah I pirated one some of the HEI Network stuff, but it was never a full catalog. It would be like 6 eps of a 10 ep season. But a couple times I saw Joe being dismissive of Tim. Seemingly out of character. I hope it's not alcohol and instead, Joe is all hoped up on Reo Genesis.
>>216046520what was the appeal?
>>216046520the paywall sucks but otherwise there would be no show. it's 5 bucks for a month, I just sub every year or two for one month, binge the new stuff, then cancel the sub. it's not as good as the youtube years anyway but it's still funny, usually.
>>216046520I literally just posted about this. Does anybody have a good source for free OCATC? I want to watch the >"Wendy Kerby Valentine's Day Special"without my computer getting AIDSHook us up and I'll give you all my 127 HEI Points.
>>216046520Exactly the same thing I've done since the paywall. I even saw On Cinema Live in my city but I'm not creating an account and paying for years just to watch the show
>>216046582idk how to describe it, you either get it or you don't. if you don't find it funny after watching several seasons, I doubt anything I can type will change your mind. but mostly it's just funny to watch these two codependent narcissists incompetently run a movie review show which frequently goes off the rails because of their personal drama, and the stewing resentment between them yet they are reliant on eachother. it's just a great character dynamic and they are such uniquely pathetic and terrible people who drag everybody around them down with them as they spiral, all while failing miserably to review movies. it's great.
>>216046652you don't have to sub for years, see what I said above. you can just sub for one month and there's several years worth of content to binge by now, it's not bad for 5 bucks. just don't renew it and repeat in a few more years. or don't, I totally understand not wanting to pay.
>>216046594>>216046652>PaywallBut at the same time, it was more popular when it was FREE. They probably lost 80% of their audience charging 5 bucks in this economy.Besides, it's a passion project. Millionaire Tim Heidecker is going to make this show till he literally dies. It's his only creative outlet left.Tell me where I can get free content or I'll fucking go DRACULA on your asses!
>>216046684>>216046713I'm gonna give YOU a >"5 Dollar Footlong"if you don't shut the fuck up right now! This is your last warning Gregg.
>>216046742they only put it behind a paywall because Adult Swim dropped them and nobody else would be willing to fund it. it's shitty but I can't blame them. and Tim is only worth like 3 million, which isn't *that* much for a guy in show biz in California. Awesome Show was always niche and had more popularity through youtube videos and memes, and he hasn't had funding from a big studio since he fell out with Adult Swim years ago. it's shitty but I can't blame them. it was going to get canned if they didn't secure funding somehow. it would be nice if they like made seasons free after a year or something though, and just let people who want to see it early pay.
>>216046828it’s not good enough to be worth paying to watch it. The oscar specials, maybe, I haven’t watched them in years, but paying to watch on cinema videos is insane, it’s just the same like 4 jokes over and over
>I give it five bags of popcorn plus two additional bags that will move over to Tim's side to bring his three popcorn rating up to five as well.Is Gregg even allowed to do this?
>>216046862This anon gets it. We enjoy the show. But it's flawed in it's design. You can't ask fans who were loyal for 13 seasons to pay them money for some fucking bullshit they film in a week. That's right, pal. They never watch the films in real time and all their reviews are surface level (Tim obviously doesn't watch them). It's part of the joke, 5 bags everytime, but charging people money to watch them jerk each other off?No thank you. I'd rather subscribe to JASH.
>>216046862the Oscar specials have still been consistently great. idk, I've given them maybe like 20 bucks over the years, for many hours of content and to a show that has kept me entertained for over a decade at this point. I'm fine with that. I'm never going to buy one of their yearly subs or whatever, that's ridiculous, but 5 bucks now and then to binge a couple years worth of shit is whatever. in any case it's a moot point, because if they didn't have any income stream for the show, there wouldn't be a show, period. so you still wouldn't be getting contact. without Adult Swim funding, they were fucked. it's not even unique to them, Sam Hyde charges twice as much monthly for access to his content and like 20 bucks for the whole new season of MDE. you expect people to just make you entertainment for free?
They still post tidbits from the new season on youtube, but the channel hasn't really grown after four years since they moved to their own site . They're not gaining new fans with what they're doing right now.
us hobbit heads have gone hungry for too long. here's to hoping that peter jackson gets to work on another sequel soon guys.
>>216047684I'm sure they would rather have a small, stable fanbase that enable them to produce what they want to, than no fanbase because they couldn't afford to produce the show at all.
