The documentary discusses the list of grievances written by Thomas Jefferson and specifically mentions the one where he complains about the King encouraging slave rebellions and hiring Indians and German mercenaries to fight for him. The documentary almost portrays this as the rabid and illogical vile racist rantings of a rabble rouser trying to play on the ignorant fear of commoners to fire them up for war. The reality, that every single one of these historians would know, it that the Indians specifically practiced a sort of war of annihilation. Their warfare was one in which they would kill and massacre not only soldiers, but civilian men, women and children. They were notorious for murdering prisoners of war and torturing them, again, both men and women. This wasnt just against the white man either, this is how they waged war on rival tribes too. Jeffersons complain even mentions this, that basically unleashing ISIS on them was psychotic and a reason for declaring independence.
