>gives furiosa a shitty teen romance without any chemistry or development with temu mad max>the way she loses her arm is anti-climatic af>never answers how she got inmortan joe's confidence to become an "imperator" and ride the war rig>never answers why she hates inmortan joe so much, if anything, he's a good guy here >never answers how she met joe's wives and become so close to them enough to want them to take them away from him>only tells what we could already infer from fury road What was the point?
>>216045736It's funny how people and /tv/ anons pretend this movie is good.
>>216045736I'm not a plotfag, the visual direction in this film was technically brilliant. Miller should have got the oscar for best director over that hack Nolan.
It's not a teen romance, it's a based age gap romantic mentorship, the way it should be
>>216045901*Sean Baker, not Nolan, sorry.
The opening chapter was completely unnecessary. It could have started with Thor's character and mostly been about him. Anya Alien was very unconvincing as an action star. Some cool cars and stunts. It added almost nothing to the Mad Max saga. After all this, Anya whined publicly about how hard it was. Overall a very confusing concept and production. It felt like it came out a long time ago, even though May 2024 was barely over a year ago. In the future, this will be a textbook example of "What if beloved film, but with a woman lead?" genre of film making.
I like this movie fuck you guys
>great war told in a 2 minute slideshow with a voice overThat was hilarious
>>216045736Like Lopus from Halo books::
