This show got absolutely panned by critics and audiences, but found a small cult following after it's adult swim run

Maybe it's nostalgia blindness but I still love rewatching Mission Hill

I thought all these failed animated sitcoms Adult Swim later picked up in its early days (Mission Hill, Home Movies, Oblongs, Baby Blues, etc.) were originals and not just failures they were cheaply acquiring to fill out their bloc. I miss pre-internet times.

Yeah adult swim was basically the Michaels house for shows that didn't make the grade, but mission hill failing was especially baffling considering the people behind it were massively successful in all their other projects

I never really enjoyed Mission Hill, but I did love Clone High and Undergrads.
It's probably for the best they didn't get a second season. Forced to go out on top.
