Thread title says it all, with the death of the majority of legacy media companies how long does adult swim realistically have left?

Not for lack of trying and smiling friends is obviously doing pretty well but how much longer can they really hold out? Or are we just gonna see them transition into a publisher instead of an actual network

I mean it was a cable block that made sense 20 years ago, now I don't really think people are going to subscribe to an [adult swim] only service. It just makes sense for it to just combine with something else or disappear.

It's on hbo max so will probably get canceled if sold. Or it will just be fox cartoons. Family Guy has been its best show for years

It's no worse off than anything else, if anything I'd say they probably make a lot more money than a lot of other channels or mediums on channels. They already aren't a network, they are part of Cartoon Network. If CN ever dies or goes away then most likely all of cable has gone away and at that point in time I just see [as] going digital either on their own web platform or through something like youtube.
