How the fuck did OPM fall so hard anyway? The first season was widely praised for its stellar animation but the following seasons look significantly worse and season 3 has been an utter disaster.

>>216051354the original s1 wasn't a normal anime production. it was full of legendary industry talent working on it for fun. even if the same studio made s2 it still wouldn't have been as good as s1also many people believe the manga went off course from the original webcomic too much. basically all of s2 was manga filler, covering 12 webcomic chapters compared to s1 covering 41 webcomic chapters. it's why s2 is full of random useless fights between side characters and saitama does nothing the entire season.If the manga stuck to the webcomic then this entire monster arc would have been done by now. We already would have gotten garou vs saitama in s2. s2 may even have been animated by the original staff since they'd be more interested in completing the series
