Walter White was a very lucky man in the drug world who had zero street smarts

Title says it all. He was never ever a hardened criminal or even a good criminal. He was just a naive, narcissistic man who thought manipulation and talks alone could get him places. He thought that by outsmarting Gus he'd be the next Gus. He thought that "talking to Tuco" would just be simple as simple as it sounded (and that nearly cost his life) yet he never, ever listened.

On my first watch in 2014 I wondered back then why the hell were people rooting for Walt at all when he spent the majority of the series worried and stroking his own ego because he was da boss and knew the chemistry and that is why people should respect and fear him ("We're done when I say we're done" lol Saul could fuck you over with a single call Walt). On my 8th rewatch, and my opinion stays the same.

Walt wouldn't last an episode with Lalo. Maybe 1 season with plot armour.

It's also a really stupid idea that really high-quality meth is some kind of a luxury commodity. Meth is a trash drug that keeps meth heads from slipping into withdrawals. If you got a hold of some, you would just mash it up with some baking soda until it was indistinguishable.
Tweek zombies don't drive across town to pay more for the super cool blue stuff.
Every once in a while this show just climbed up its own ass until it got brain damage.

This is why The Shield is the superior show.

He was Heisenberg, the Danger and The One who Knocks. He had the most chemically pure product on the market. If you're still somehow confused by his success, I think a show like Walking Dead might be more your speed.

OP has a much better point than that

He's a based researcher

Is 25 upvotes all it takes for you fags to start itching from lack of (You)s?

Imagine rewatching a show eight times before you realize you don't actually like it.

I watched it once and thought it was ok. Writing becomes increasingly absurd as it progresses but that’s not uncommon

This is what happens when you green light scripts from sheltered dweebs like Vince. The scene of Jesse on H cements it for me that he's just a total milquetoast guy as he couldn't even come close to approximating that appropriately.
