One weird detail about this film is that, if you read the script, Jonny's rape at the begining of the movie is written to be much more ambigious and all his actions are underplayed/morally ambigious, whereas Jeremy(?)'s are far more damning and implied to be much more cruel and evil. Seeing as the director is a fullblown commie, it seems to imply that the actions of a poor person are inherently less evil than that of a rich person's, despite commiting very similar acts (rape, emotional cruelty, etc). Very weird detail I've not seen anyone mention before.
