It is unfortunate, but the japs spent years raping and killing across asia while their homefront was insulated. When the bombers showed up overhead the mainland not a single American gave a shit after the stories of the Philippines and Burma came to light.

Your kids and women are gonna get fried if your men are running into hospitals and bayoneting the sick or murder-raping women on a near industrial scale while tossing their babies into fires.
