>>216150114Copolla on his friend, child rapist Victor Salva:>"In 2006, Coppola said, "You have to remember, while this was a tragedy, that the difference in age between Victor and the boy was very small -- Victor was practically a child himself." Salva was 29 at the time while the boy was 12."

He ran out of money and had to stitch it all together in post, but he didn't have enough to salvage it
>>216151143In defense of Coppola, it seems like a pretty small difference when you are a million years old and high af
I paid $60 a head for me and two buddies to see this and listen to his Q&A afterwards at a venue downtown. It's a funny memory at least.
>>216150114The only person I know that has seen it said this was an unforgettable experience and high art. I don't know what to think but ai haven't seen it yet. I do trust this friend's taste however

It's ok to admit a movie is bad, nothing bad will happen. You can stop pretending the movie had potential and could have been done right. Given infinite time and infinite resources the movie would have been just as bad. It is rotten to the core.
>>216151143This person only knows this because of the Jeepers Creepers thread a few weeks ago.

>>216150114>they actually had a wagie working at the theaters go in to ask the question as a reporterhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-yhGkymtOrowhat's the point the sound would come from the theater speakers anyway
>>216152784a more competent director at least would not have directed his actors to act in such a bizarrely stilted manner. When everyone in a movie gives a bad performance that is unquestionably the fault of the director, and they were acting the way he foolishly ordered them to act.
>>216153211Coppola thought it would blow people's minds to see a live actor in a theater, because he is not aware of these things called plays.
>>216150458>tfw your husband stands up from the couch, sticks his arms in the air and starts yelling "kinoooooo">tfw you go to the bathroom for one of your frequent woman-pisses and when you come back to the lounge room he's still going "OOOOO"
