I always wonder with big ensemble shows like this what the glorified extras feel like? For example, Nancys parents. They have some dialogue, her mother had a very minor subplot in one of the seasons, but for the most part they turn up to do work that really amounts to background decorations year after year. Lengthy (2h22m movie btw) accompanied by a huge range in emotions, surprise ending, and leaves you wanting enough for the 3.5 year wait. S4 has (a lot) more flaws than S1, but it has enough good to blind me to them in hindsight.S3 is like the opposite to S4 to me. The flaws outshined its good scenes, even though it had some really good scenes. I just couldn't get over the constant goofiness of "flamboyant Russians under a kid's mall" plot.
