>Hates Paul Dano
>Hates Owen Wilson
>Hates Matthew Lillard

So basically he hates actors good at playing awkward cringy spergs? AKA himself? This makes all his movies seem less deliberately stylized and more like really insecure wish fulfillment. Spike Lee unironically called it when he said Tarantino desperately wishes he was black and cool.

Lillard did well in slc punk which is basically better than anything tarantino can conceive since he spent his youth without friends and watching 70s kino that he blatantly rips off. Owen did well in behind enemy lines and the minus man and can do comedy very well. Its actually fuckin weird tarantula wouldnt like the minus man. Dano, do i even need to speak? How is tarantino this lame irl?

How can you hate Owen Wilson?

Saying Dano did a bad job in TWBB because he's meek and wimpy is like saying Brendan Fraser was bad in The Whale becase he was fat, like ok if you didn't like it but he's retarded for thinking Austin Butler would be better and clearly doesn't understand the character

Funniest part is that Tarantino used to think he was actually movie star material back in the day and had to be talked out of not playing Mr. Pink in Reservoir Dogs which would have completely ruined the film, the cognitive dissonance is staggering
>>
I like Tarantino's movies but his opinions on other movies seem way off to me. He also lets his personal feelings get in the way. Spike Lee movies were all great when they were friends and now they suck because Lee said to stop saying nigger.

Some redditor pointed out that if there's ever a biopic about QT, Dano's perfect for a lead part of a creepy dweeb, which Quentin himself despises and sees himself as more of a cool, old-school macho type, that's why he mentioned Austin Butler and how much he would be in that part LMAO

>casting has-beens and character actors in lead parts
The only time this is true was Robert Forster in Jackie Brown. It got him an Oscar nomination legitimately revived his career. But who else? Pam Grier was in Mars Attacks and Escape from LA. Travolta is debatable, he was still pretty big during Pulp Fiction. Oh, yeah he cast Sid Haig... For like five seconds. Did OUATIH really need to star three of the biggest actors in the world in the lead roles? And that's also not-with-standing the whole story was ripped off from Gary Kent, who got zero credit whatsoever.

>as all these movies predate their lives
the internet says beginning date for generation Z is 1997 so no those movies don't predate their lives, it's like them being a fan of an actor who was popular when they were kids which makes extra sense with the scooby doo connection. this is the equivalent of me in 2005 being a fan of a comedic actor successful in the early eighties, say bill murray, tho lillard was never that big

lmao. Yeah, this is his list for virtue signaling to hollywood faggots. He probably has a separate list just for black people.

To be fair, Tarantino isn't an actor for a living.

>live to a tender old age and passes peacefully in bed surrounded by wealth and power like Kissinger and co.

Matthew Lillard was amazing as Shaggy and his performance was completely wasted on that film. Peak IRL cartoon energy. Apparently fucked up his voice from screaming before takes just so he could get the raspiness down. That kind of dedication to an otherwise medicore flick is the mark of a real kinomaker

My friend put this on while I was living with him in College and I couldnt believe thag Tarantino really thought he had acting potential. I mean its painfully bad but maybe that was the goal.

He's just ugly. Everyone is so fat now we've forgotten what genuinely ugly people look like instead of the uruk-hai created from cursed chemistry we see so much today
>>
>>216350347
The few times he’s acted - notably in Pulp Fiction- it’s noticeable how much worse of an actor he is than everyone else in the cast.
The Jimmy dialogue is hilarious, but Tarantino sounds like he’s performing lines. It’s like he’s trying to be as cool as the dialogue and his insecurity comes across on screen.
And Destiny Turns on the Radio was total dogshit and he was dog shit in it.

watched black hawk down for the first time a couple of months ago. it sucked so bad lmao.
the characters were emotionally shallow and dumb as all hell. they'd stand out in the open while reloading and talking, then make dumb quips as they're all dying off one by one. in the one scene they advance on a building with a towelhead actively firing at them and not a single american lays down covering fire. the terrorists are made out to be this unstoppable, smart, faceless force, while the americans are weak and stupid. the non-stop action got old after ten minutes.
it's a movie for actual retards

This is how I feel about Gladiator. Just a bunch of over the top spectacle, I find it funny that people shit on Napoleon so much for being unrealistic and wildy inaccurate when Ridley Scott has been doing this for his whole career

I don't mean that LITERALLY you dense turd. I mean that the movies mostly largely released before they were aware of the world or film in general. Not only in the fact that Hackers, Scream, SLC Punk, Wing Commander etc. were all like early to late 90s films but they were also adult movies where they wouldn't even cross a zoomies path until they were 12+ You think a zoomer was watching wicker park in 2004? No, it's a milenial indie film near the beginning of the hipster take off. People watched that shit to fuck weird hipster chicks who liked photography and modest mouse on peoplegrade and myspace.

You're out of your fucking element you stupid child.

he's your typical nerd with a rough idea of what cool means. half of his dialogue only comes across well because it's delivered by actors who actually have that charisma he lacks
>>
>>216349743
Watch SLC Punk, he isn't mediocre at all. Also where the fuck are you seeing him? Only current role he has is FNAF movies (which I don't know how the fans gobbled up cause they completely fucked up the lore and even the tone of the franchise, it's like Funko Pop version of FNAF).
