My serious answerThe entire conflict of the movie was that he wouldn't stop being such a fucking dickIn fact they kept having little moments teasing that he was starting to warm up and form a harsh friendship with Pattinson and then every time he immediately dropped it and became even MORE of a dickI have never seen a more justified homicide in a movie fuck him

>>216476506I think Tommy knew that in the mob power was in perception and if someone could get away with insulting you then you were not a man to be feared. I dont think his problem was in killing Billy Bats but more in killing Spider. I think his biggest issue was escalating to extreme violence too quickly in certain situations. We also dont know how accuarate the film is to reality as even you have the biased perception of Henry Hill as the basis for the film and then Scorsese.
