How are they going to screw it up?

what is there to screw up? it's an extremely reddit book

Yeah I read the whole thing and it was peak reddit. Excessive references to shit, fetishization of MUH SCIENCE and just general söy attitude. Still, I enjoyed it. My mom said I should read it for the local library book club. My ex gfs mom also has read it and had recommended it to me a month before her daughter dumped me. So I read the whole thing. Will I go see the movie? Maybe.

I felt the same way. the martian was the same way and was a decent flick, I expect the movie adaptation will be much the same

Since everyone apparently read the book: will I be able to identify with the main character? Is he literally me?
>>
>>216482286
the main character is the guy from the martian again but with a different name

Mc is a "science, fuck yeah!!!" redditor but at least the book was somewhat entertaining despite the constant snarky marvel quips
