IT'S A JUNGLE OUT THERE

Kino as far as network television goes.
>>
I'm still mad they never actually pulled the trigger and had Adrian and Shawn Spencer cross over, beyond those commercial bumpers. Especially in the Psych finale, where the Chief literally says Adrian is in the very next room.

He is a bit too neurotic for me to enjoy watching

still would

Those were great. But I don't think Monk would realistically want anything to do with Shawn. He might like Gus tho.
>>
>>216480611
I still hold out hope that it can happen in one of their Peacock movies.

>But I don't think Monk would realistically want anything to do with Shawn.
Isn't that usually how the best crossovers always start?
>>
>>216480611
That's because Psych sucks

Come on, son.

I'm sorry you don't have anything quality to watch, youngin'.

This is sickening. Worse than anything in a gore/scat thread on /b/

I don't think it would have worked but i'm glad we had both

here's the thing...

Monk and Psych posters out there; are you pretending to like these shows? I've only seen ep1 of Monk so I might be willing to believe it hits its stride as it progresses.
But Psych? I struggle to imagine anyone sitting through it.
Do these shows just have a tight-knit cult following or what?
>>
>>216481458
I started watching monk and then immediately skipped to a season with a hotter assistant
>>
>>216481458
it's ok if you don't like them
>>
>>216481041
Top tier humor.
>>
>>216481458
I liked Monk as a semi-autistic kid. I tried rewatching it a few years ago, but I dropped it after an episode or two.
>>
>>216480187
still mad about that fucking theme song
>>216481458
psych is just good, extremely high quality comedy television. you probably got a sickness in your brain, sorry.
>>
>>216481458
Monk is simple feel-good TV, the kind of stuff you can tune in at any time and spend a couple hours having fun without much thought. The guy is just quirky enough, has a soft side deep down, there's laughs in almost every episode, and the show has an overarching plot to keep you interested.
Psych is a lot more silly and childish so I never got into it. Don't see why these two are compared, other than for being in the same network.
>>
>>216483084
They tended to 'crossover' a lot back in the day. They would often allude to and reference each other (or at least Psych would to Monk) and there were commercial bumpers where Shawn and Adrian would actually interact with each other.

Monk's pilot is more kino than the show after it was picked up. The humor gets less dry and the nature of syndicated tv means character growth is minimal
>>
i really appreciated that monk really was a fucking asshole sometimes and he had no excuse
>>
Monk, Psych, Lie to Me. Any other psychology kino?

I would never have watched it, but my brother suggested I watch it, and I'm glad that he did.

No idea about that one.

You should see her in "two guys a girl and a pizza place"
>>
Anyone else seen the Monk's Last Case movie? I feel like they took a 8/10 scraped episode end stretch it out to it's limit (the joke with random guards recognizing Randy was kind of funny thu).

there's an episode where he literally goes blind from an chemical attack, did you watch that one
