I normally hate hollywood remakes of foreign films but I like the director.Is it the same akward dialogue as in Favourite and The Lobster?

I also went in with the story already spoiled for me, so any potential effect of the twist was lost on me. No real complaints aside from me hating the stupid the depiction of the aliens-- all ugly and ethnically diverse, how progressive. I liked seeing the fat cop getting murdered, succeeded at being a truly annoying character. Kinda felt bad for the autist that blew his own head off. Plemons' acting was the real highlight here, and Emma acting cunty is tired at this point and not a sign of good acting. The little montage at the end was neat.
