‘Band of Brothers’ had US Paras executing surrendered enemy soldiers, as did ‘Fury’.
‘Generation Kill’ showed command structures as largely being incompetent and self-serving.
Pretty much every Vietnam movie 1985-1995 revolved around at least one member of a squad who was a cartoonishly evil stereotype versus an angelic good boy. IE Casualties of War, Platoon. Hamburger Hill I’m not sure about because all I can remember about it is tons of gore.

Platoon. They did fucked up shit to Vietnamese villagers out of pure sadism

In Platoon them attacking the village is put into context by one of their men being brutally killed beforehand. These movies always put things into context so they can get away with showing war crimes. "Oh well the gooks had it coming".

That's like 80% of them, if the war takes place after WW2.
