Just finished. This was a funny and well written little thriller, but I'm becoming the thing I hate most and thinking to myself during so much stuff "but is it horror?" Seems obvious this would be but at the end the killer is just a guy in a werewolf costume, not a werewolf.. There's so much focus on the procedural/character stuff that that one key difference means instead of a quirky monster movie I find it falling into a whole other genre. Still, it's engaging and entertaining and relatable (I'm an alky with anger issues too.). Can't believe it's already been five years since this came out. Riki Lindhome is a cute fish face, and the mom at the diner with the little daughter was a sex bundle.

Just finished. Holy hell, this was a crazy ride. Went in basically blind, and the premise was great: a young Tokyo girl starts to lose everything in her life over the span of a couple days, starting with her job, her boyfriend, and her apartment. She can't figure out why her luck has gotten so bad, and her luck only gets worse. You're just as off balance as her, especially during the first half, and even though things gradually make more sense, you're still on your toes till the last minute. In the end, though... NOT horror! Lol, I'm getting sick of saying that. It was labeled as such where I watched it, but it's really an excellent Hitchcockian thriller, a very, very good movie that should have a bigger reputation. From the directors of Toho's Bloodthirsty Trilogy!!
