Besides that it's a surprisingly realistic take on race, both similarities and differences, and race relationships, male and female relationships, and what happens when you put your personal goals ahead of everything else in your life. All hidden behind a very base level sports/basketball theme with an early 90s aesthetic

It's one of my favorite movies of all time and so many people can't get over NAME IS RACIST AGAINST WHITES
