This is playing near me tomorrow. I wasn't a big fan of Broken Embraces but willing to give Almodovar another chance. Should I check it out or nah?

So this is how Shakespeare dies, "Not with a bang, but with a whimper" - Shakespeare.

The best Almodóvar movies are Volver and All About My Mother. The rest are meh.
To be fair, I'm picky as fuck. So, don't believe me.

It's a weak film, only for superfans.
All About My Mother, The Skin I Live In, Talk to Her, Law of Desire and Matador are his best films I'd say.

I haven't seen this yet, but I've seen his last 4 or so, and I can comfortably say he's in the Old Man period of career, his movies have the same languid tone and pace as the last few Bergman made or what Cronenberg's doing now.
