Movies where the "bad guy" is 100% in the right.
Emperor Sheev Palpatine was literally right about absoltely everything.
>>216498832It was weird that Leo's family was so comfortable around this mental patient that just wandered into their lives, after he followed them across the country, and ignored Leo's explicit requests for him to not do any of that and leave him alone.
It always astonishes me that people don't understand that Bob is faking his disorder and is purposely gaslighting and ruining the life of the therapist, and has done this to several therapists before.Any doubt of this is lost with the psychiatric hospital scene where he shows he's just extremely manipulative and shows zero disorders at all. But it also shows at the start he fakes stuff like Heart Attacks and Tourettes for attention.People though are like "lol Bob is just so lol random and even though he oversteps boundaries, he doesn't mean it"Lol he literally steals the therapists entire family and fucks the sister, steals the therapists career and book and probably ends up fucking his wife and daughter as well.
>>216499119"Why are you being so mean to this BPD sociopath who has stalked you half way across the country and fakes suicide for attention!, lets let this complete stranger mental patient sleep in bed with our son"The movie is absolutely wtf by modern standards.
Bob fakes EVERYTHING (confirmed by the actual script btw) he does because he is a selfish, sadistic sociopath who takes pleasure in pretending to be whatever suits him to be in order to impose himself and his desires onto others without remorse. Leo is self-centered and self-important, making him a perfect victim for Bob's psychological predation; Leo is discompassionate and inconsiderate (stealing the dream home from that couple), he's inadequate/negligent as a father (ignores his son's needs and condescending to his daughter), and so blind from his own ambitions that he underestimates and falls victim to Bob as a result. Bob destroys Leo's life because that's what he wanted the whole time, and it's because Leo thinks himself so superior to everyone that he's unable to escape Bob before it's too late. Bob "baby steps" his way to Leo's demise, slowly turning the therapist insane by pretending to be insane himself only to take everything Leo loved and thought he deserved and living the life the therapist once had so Bob can be "healed" from his fake conditions having been "saved" by Leo when in actuality Leo was the one who needed saving the whole time initially from himself, but ultimately from Bob. Bob takes Leo's whole life. Leo should've seen it coming.
>>216498832 Wow that's so goofy imagine dressed in shorts and bright shirt when shaking hands with a man in a suit wow Murray is a comedic genius
I always felt this movie should have ended with the shrink in the asylum, bob visits him and is like "You see Doc, I took your life, I fucked your sister, Your daughter? Should have seen her face when I took her virginity, I'm taking your wife, and your son? obsessed with death? He's going to be begging for it after my pals are done with him. Go ahead, cry, tell everybody what a monster I am, nobody will believe you, they love me and think you are a deranged sad man who has had a complete break down, I won".Bob walks away and the shrink starts screaming and it fades to credit. Turns what is a quirky 1990s comedy movie into the best horror of the decade.
>>216499195They laid it on too thick with Leo Marvin so you think Bob is like some kind of divine retribution against this stuck up, egotistical piece of shit who needs to learn his lesson about how to be a better person. I get that they needed the plot to happen and they needed to show that a different approach could help Leo's family, but I don't really get what they were going for by having the guy's life nearly ruined by a sadistic retard psychopath because Leo didn't want a man, whose mental issues he's clinically aware of, around his wife and kids.
>>216499195>he is a selfish, sadistic sociopath who takes pleasure in pretending to be whatever suits him to be in order to impose himself and his desires onto others without remorseReally the perfect role for Bill Murray.
>>216498832Inglorious Basterds
>>216499152>>216499195Sounds like an extremely uncomfy movie. I hate these kinds. Like the Cable Guy
