we badly need Band of Brothers: Canada edition
Canada has a military?
Canada edition? more like Fellowship of Faggots
>>216498898about to shit on this idea but would be good material to draw on.>S01E03 - "The Scheldt"it could be pure kino. The Western Front was largely an overrated battle in terms of difficulty and blood spilled. The US was largely war-gaming and just trying to bang out the campaign with the sacrifice of machinery and bombs while keeping casualties low and balancing all this with a speedy and sure advance. The Brits were just licking their lips as they persistently revenged themselves. The Canadians were very eager to fight and this showed in their habitual night operations in freezing storms where the Wehrmacht or US Army would simply dig in till dawn without question. The leafs made intolerable and often cold as fuck conditions their home field.they also only fielded a few divisions and were pretty well trained -- probably comparable in value to top-tier German infantry if a little bit inexperiencedthe casting if done well with lesser known actual Canadians the reaction could be very positive internationally. people seem to like vintage-Canada quite a lot.unfortunately it probably won't happen unless it's a Canadian project (barely) funded by the Canadian Legion or War Office or CBC or some shit and will inevitably cast half niggers and asian women as the Canadian 1st Armored>the grizzled Dieppe survivor who keeps a flask of maple syrup handy
>>216498968not really since WW1WW2 was more of an economic challenge to contribute as much materiel as possible while fielding enough troops to show off how independent from England they are
>>216498968>>216499104we had a massive Airforce and Navy by early 45top 3 or 4 largest in the world IIRC
