You now remember Bunjamin Betton
>>216499708remember? it's my favorite Fincher film.
>>216499708I never watched it though
>>216499708>aging backwards is just like aging forward Really gets your noggin joggin
>>216499708Tear jerker of a movie. This and Big Fish will get to anyone with a heart.
Yellow Bastard
>>216499824Big Fish's ending got me so bad. I could barely see the screen I was tearing up so much.
>>216499708wasnt very realistic Gene, and for that I give it thumbs down
>>216499854First half of big fish was good, last half was boring.
>>216499708This movie was kinda my life but I age the opposite way
>>216499708The short story is really good and funny. It was probably a mistake to turn that into a 3 hour slog.
>>216500020Fincher's witchcraft can do anything, no worries
>>216499854>>216499824pussy ass bitch.
>>216499708>Travels the world with the body of a 25-30 year old and the life experience of a 55-60 year oldThis "condition" would be a blessing not a curse
>>216501378Damn... he really is do be like that...
This movie for some reason assumed Hurricane Katrina would be a significant historical event and that big disasters aren't just a thing that occurs from time to time
>>216501378I've never seen such a young man...
>>216501378why is he so fucking smug?
>>216499708Yeah I enjoyed this. Fincher also made Cate Blanchett look kino (she is kino anyway but especially here). I consider it a somewhat superior Forrest Gump.
>>216501378His gay little jumps and movements remind me of Stuart from MadTV>LOOK WHAT I CAN DO
>>216501378This guy is using a filter and is making fun of those millennials who keep claiming to look like they are gen z.
>>216500448Cant disagree with you. Always been sentimental and shit.
>>216499708What about a film where someone's born, say, in 1995 and his tenth birthday is in 1985, 20th in 1975, etc. Where all his yesterdays are all our tomorrows.
>>216499708Was he somehow born with the body of an old man or did he go from baby to old man then start reverse aging?
>>216501883Elderly looking baby that grows into an old man with the mind of a child then as he ages through life he looks physically younger. They kind of cheat it by turning him into a regular looking baby at the end, though the bit before that where he’s a toddler with dementia is quite sad
>>216501948Huh, interesting. I'll give it a watch sometime.
>>216499708What I don't understand is that he started as a wrinkly baby, grew to a full sized old man, became young, then shrunk down into a baby again. He either should've been adult sized from the beginning, or had stayed adult sized at the end
>>216501659That's not a filter
>>216502054How would he exit his mother’s vaginal canal if he were a full sized man as a baby? I haven’t seen the movie but Benjamin Button is born as a baby but he’s an old man with old man thoughts. Imagine having old man thoughts as your entire body goes through a vagina. Man that would be wild!
>>216499708The short story is actually quite good. The movie was awful. Would work better as a 2D cartoon. But since we don’t get decent non-kiddie cartoons here it would need to be anime
>>216499708I watched this with my 87 year old grandmother, hoping to get a reaction from her. But she got bored, got up to piss, and fell asleep.
>>216501948Toddlers are basically retards, that should work
>>216502385Your grandmother has better taste than you. Absolute turd of a movie.
One of Finchers best, when you think the scope of the movie its really impressive
Is everybody in this thread insane? This has got to be the worst movie I have ever watched until the end. Benjamin Button goes somewhere, does nothing interesting and when he leaves somebody says "huh, you looked older when you came here". Over and over again. There is nothing to learn from it. Nothing that makes you think. It's not even entertaining. They took an interesting idea, that would have been enough for a short movie or an episode of a Scifi-show and stretched beyond breaking point to create this boring mess. >>216502385 This guy's grandmother who fell asleep and pissed herself during the movie had the only correct reaction to the movie.
I cried with that movie.
>>216503197Thanks for contributing, my little brown friend. Take this shiny penny as a token of my grattitude, dont be shy, yes, its for you!
>>216502385It's always aggravating and sad when you try to connect with someone like that and it doesn't work out. The last Christmas I had with my grandma before she died I was at a table with her and my great uncle. I kept trying to have a conversation with them but I would say a sentence and they would just say something completely irrelevant to what I said. They were both saying things but there was zero actual communication happening between us. It wasn't even a dementia senility thing specifically. This has happened with almost all the old people in family. I desperately tried to connect with them and have a real human conversation and it always just goes nowhere. Now they're all dead and gone.
>>216502054They were too cowardly to show us a giant Brad Pitt baby at the end
>>216499708chocking to think he would have won an oscar if that movie was released today
>>216502857She didn't piss herself you jerk
>>216501378Why does this dude think you stop being lively in your 30s lmao
>>216504158Meds
>>216504158Jannie are you ok?
