Idk if Safe is an indie film. and no, the foreign films are never good, unfortunately. not even the chinese cop ones. and dont go to any ingmar bergman cause you'll have a bunch of smug 60-somethings chortling at all the "jokes". just go to any big 60s/70s/80s movies they show like The Long Goodbye or The Stunt Man or Raging Bull, stuff like that.

It Was Just an Accident, Sentimental Value are good, some of the best films this year.
Safe is great, one of Todd Haynes' best films. I wish I had a theatre like this near me ffs.
