After the bogfires and porn plagues of 4channel, the comment section of sub-100K views music is like the Elysian Fields. A cooling balm. Best to alternate between the two I think.
>>216504940>if it's a meme or joke song, there will always be the "when you're happy you listen to the melody, when you're sad, you listen to the lyrics"

I don't know how to explain why some music is good. I can't even tell you what a note is
>imagine doing this at math test
>>216506334Yes most of them are. Also legally to declare music plagiarism you need to have exactly the same notes. which could be easily avoided by transposing up or down or slightly modifying the motif by skipping or adding notes.

>>216509754>JUST HAVE A LIL WHIMSY
>>216509098I'm not sure you understand what you are talking about. If you take all notes of the melody and move them all equal number of semitones up or down the melody remains the same. Because it's the relative distances between notes in the melody that matter. Unless you transpose a whole octave up or down most people would not hear any difference until listening to 2 versions right after each other.

>>216507264>Game "composers" are even bigger hacksYeah why can't they plagiarize Holst like John Williams or hire other hacks to actually compose their works like Zimmer
