I don't think Paul Dano is an amazing actor and yeah you could definitely say that alongside DDL he could come across as underwhelming to some viewers. But i don't think Leo di caprio or Brad Pitt are much better desu. In fact both of them are way past their prime and Tarantino just couldn't see it when he cast them together. I've been feeling it for a while now but this interview just proves Tarantino has fallen off and lost his touch. He's been the golden director of Hollywood's for too long
