This movie feels so unfinished, it lacks a third act.

Why didn't Zhivago leave with Lara and Komarovsky when he had literally nothing else? What happened to Lara's daughter with Strelnikov? How did Lara separate from Zhivago's daughter? Why did Lara look for her daughter in orphanages instead of Komarovsky's? What else could Lara do to end in a gulag while Zhivago never would? Why did Strelnikov attempt going back to Lara?

This movie was so disappointing. There was no reason to leave his wife, so it didn't make sense that he'd just off and have an affair.
