Aside from obvious picks like Denzel, Djimon Hounsou has been great in everything I've seen him in. Damson Idris (guy from the F1 movie) is really great as far as newer actors go. I loved Snowfall and he gave the best performance in that show and he had some stiff competition. David Jonsson is also excellent and has impressive range. He stole The Long Walk and was the best part of it by a country mile. It was actually kind of embarrassing seeing Philip Seymour Hoffmans nepo baby son try to keep up with him and just fail.
