There's something oddly comforting about that aesthetic: the remnants of grand ambitions left to nature's slow reclaim, the mix of eerie abandoned luxury and high-tech facilities that were once buzzing with life but are now silent except for the rustling leaves and the distant roars of dinos.

Jurassic World would have been kino if it was like this but with the old Park.

Yeah, it's such a kino atmosphere. It's why I think Jurassic works better on the islands than it does on the mainland. It loses that sense of lost world wonder.
