I have a love/hate thing with Noah Hawley. This show had so many good ideas but he desperately needs someone to reign in his more self-indulgent instincts

The season one finale killed it for me. I thought he was a legit schizophrenic who, due to his mutant powers, unwillingly manifested his delusions and gave form to his intrusive thoughts. Turns out it was just a bad guy taking advantage of him which was not at all interesting, and then he got sucked into an orb which was shit. I never watched another episode.

I think I'm retarded because i can hardly follow what this show is about but it's cool, like in episode 2, he's talking to a therapist and the therapist leaves the room and it's actually in an empty indoor swimming pool with armed guards standing by for whatever reason and scientists walking around with clipboards and stuff, lol

That was a good sequence. They're trying to depict people with reality warping and mind control powers and how that would look. It sucks when it's just people acting out of character, but they at least tried to show how they're being manipulated.

Season 2 finale made me drop the show when everyone turned against David like a bunch of retards. It's a shame, because it was kino before that (though season 2 felt a bit unfocused). Also, fuck Syd. What a vile person who faces no accountability for being a rapist, manipulator, and a retard. Nothing David did was worse than the shit she pulled with her mom's bf.

I don't remember much about this show other than the concept was good but at some point it gets larger in scope where they're involved with some kind of secret government agency that's actually just like one guy and a bunch of transvestite robots and it just got too silly.
