Do you re-watch movies and why, if you do? I hardly ever do it but when it's really good, I might give it a re-watch to see if I missed anything (hardly ever because I'm super observant)

is this just gonna be a thinly veiled moner thread?
>>
>>216517758
Sure. There's usually enough going on to spot new things for multiple rewatches (consider the amount of work going into a movie). More importantly, huge part of watching is immersing yourself, which is an area feels do a lot of the heavy lifting anyway. Probably won't rewatch that piece of shit The Last Knight, though.

Nah, it was just for drawing attention to the question

Sometimes if I really like the movie and it's been long enough that I don't remember all the details. But, rarely, since there's so much to watch and I rather see something I don't know the plot of.
>>
I rewatch my favourite movies around this time of year. Haven’t gotten around to it yet though
>>
>>216517758
I've rewatched 21/22 jump street so many times I can't remember.
Every time it makes me laugh.

Yeah. I used English words to form part of a sentence in parentheses. Wow.
>>

Life Aquatic because it's comfy as fuck and my favourite movie
>>
>>216517758
Usually I only want to see one or two scenes rather than a whole movie so I'll just look it up on youtube rather than downloading a whole movie I already saw just to see 3 minutes.
>>
>>216517758
i like to rewatch favs on the weekends when i get up and make my coffee
>>
Sometimes I want to watch something with my gf, but I don't want to mentally commit to the movie
I just want to hang out with her
So I would put on something that I already watched, as I know she's not going to pay too much attention to it
Last week I rewatch Fury Road
>>
My most rewatched films that I actually like:
>Matrix
>Fire Walk with Me (best on the list for sure)
>District 9
>Eyes Wide Shut
>Life of Brian
>Shaun of the Dead
>Mickey's Trailer

please judge me
>>
>>216517758
>Do you re-watch movies a
Of course.
>and why, if you do?
Because I like watching them.
>>
>>216519899
to be fair, I have watched Feline Follies more than I have watched Mickey's Trailer.
>>
>>216519899
Which Matrix?
There's only ONE movie on the trilogy that has good rewatch value
>>
>>216519989
obviously the first matrix film. But I will attempt a full series watch before I see the 4th film for the first time. I will do the same for the John Wick series one day.

I have not seen the Animatrix.
>>
>>216517758
A movie has to have a certain soul if it wants me to rewatch it. Like the National Treasure films, I've seen them like 20 times I think
Other films I've rewatched more than once include
>Gladiator
>Die Hard 1-4
>Kung Fu Hustle
>Demolition Man
>Indiana Jones 1-3
>Asterix & Obelix Mission Cleopatra
>Pirates of the Caribbean 1-3
>>
>>216517758
I rewarch movies because good movies a finite & movie watching is pleasant. Wtf do you do with your free time before your death?
>>
>>216517758
yes because i enjoy watching movies, not learning the plot
>>
>>216520138
>before I see the 4th film
You will regret watching the 4th
>>
>>216517758
Mad Max Fury Road, Training Day, Shot Caller, Lord of the Rings, Law Abiding Citizen, I don't know, probably autism and /tv/ doesn't have a random movie recommendation tool based off of movie genres.
For example: select "Thriller" and then choose the amount of movies recommended and then a database gives you all of the best scored movies it has off of that one selection.
>>
>>216519899
what's your favorite joke in Life of Brian
>>
only if i think or talk about it or just get randomly in the mood because i'm reminded of it somehow. these are the current cycle, very basic really, but i wont pretend otherwise. rewatchability should mostly be a fun experience, not a new one. snake in the eagles shadow is the one i return to the most, because i can relate to jackies character in this a lot and its just pure fun.
