Just torrented this, as a zoomer, what I'm in for
>>216520071Truly annoying drama.
>>216520071>as a zoomer, what I'm in fora lifetime spent as a gay wigger
Something that was pretty good twenty years ago but has since aged very, very, very poorly
Strong Fall of Rome inspired character drama and the soundtrack/plotting that pretty much made HBO want to try something like Game of Thrones. Also an entire 7/10 movie that serves as the pilot and sets up the whole concept of the show
>>216520083you can tell from this promo image alone
>>216520156What aged badly about it? I watched 9th doctor CGI, I'm immune to bad visuals
>>216520071kino
>>216520071Half an episode of alternating between 10 seconds of watching and 50 seconds of tiktok/instagram/god knows what before deleting the entire download
im 21 and dl the whole thing earlier this year too, expect the plot to go nowhere and round in circles making you drop the whole fucking thing around 3rd season
Lots of raunchy, PG-13 sex scenes with Tricia Helfer. Lots of sex in general actually, everyone's super horny, but there isn't full nudity.Lots of "frak" to get around being unable to say fuck.
>>216520254please stop posting this, it looks like a fat arab i work with an it's really making me sick
>>216520071stop after season 2 and never look back
They didn't have a plan
>>216520071Women getting what they deserve
>>21652007110/10 ron d moore kino, dated cgi
>>216520240It's not the effects that are necessarily bad it's everything else. Mainly that the entire show is commentary on post-9/11 America and the War on Terror. Do you remember the military commissions act of 2006? If not, you better read the Wikipedia article about it before you watch the episode that is a 1:1 allegory criticizing it or you're going to be lost.
>>216520071The 2nd best sci-fi show of all time.
>>216520071prime '00s mystery box shitwriting
This show was the greatest thing I ever saw for a long time. Parts of it didn't age well but overall some top notch acting and great writing that eventually feels like it becomes a whole different show. The music is worth watching for. It's what put Bear McCreary on the map
>>216520889this, after stargate of course
>>216520071You're in for the time of your life, kid.
>no one saying to start with the miniseries
>>216521678anon beat me to it. can't stress enough, watch the original miniseries before you start in on 33 (s01e01)
>>216520071>zoomer>torrentedThat's cap.
>>216520071This is the Admiral. Set condition one throughout the thread.
>>216521660Boomer looks delicious in her officer's uniform.
>>216520071It's pretty intense, have fun. Start with the miniseries.
>>216520071dated iraq war metaphors
Yeah I'm copypastating an old post of mine, but:I still remember during the airing of Season 3 when it was speculated (with good reason) that Earth was the actual true homeworld of humanity. The artifacts they encountered along the way became more ancient up to thousands of years, even surpassing Kobol history.Of course, that's not how it turned out after Season 4 aired, but it was a good theory for a while.
>>216521655No. Babylon 5.
The Season 3 experience.
>>216522051ACTION STATIONS
>>216520240Extremely annoying shaky cam that makes it borderline unwatchable
>>216523161more like ACTING STATIONS
>>216520071A good start that starts to peter out by Season 3 because SyFy demanded a bloated episode count for Season 3. Season 4 suffered from the 2007/2008 Writer's Strike resulting in a break mid season. They started a robot rebellion plot that they couldn't support with the budget, going nowhere. And the ending sucks because they wrote themselves into a corner.Michelle Forbes is hot as Captain Boss Bitch
>>216523560Based Queen.Total Toaster Death.
>>216520071Endless drum solos
>>216522319Idk about that with Retard-in-Chief trying to recapitulate it in Venezuela.
>>216520071The peak of canadian sci-fi.
>>216520071>as a zoomerConcepts far above the useless education you received.
>>216520071Complete rubbish. They say "frick" because they're too scared of saying "fuck".
>>216524855This is cylon propaganda. BSG is an adult show with adult themes.
"Sci-fi" show with a budget of $150 per episode so sci-fi shit barely ever happens and it's just a drama. This is why I hate the "the enemy looks just like us" trope, it's a way to do cheap TV
>>216520071Days of our Lives, but in space.
