Something that was pretty good twenty years ago but has since aged very, very, very poorly
Strong Fall of Rome inspired character drama and the soundtrack/plotting that pretty much made HBO want to try something like Game of Thrones. Also an entire 7/10 movie that serves as the pilot and sets up the whole concept of the show

Do you remember the military commissions act of 2006? This show was the greatest thing I ever saw for a long time. Parts of it didn't age well but overall some top notch acting and great writing that eventually feels like it becomes a whole different show.The music is worth watching for. It's what put Bear McCreary on the map

Yeah I'm copypastating an old post of mine, but:I still remember during the airing of Season 3 when it was speculated (with good reason) that Earth was the actual true homeworld of humanity. The artifacts they encountered along the way became more ancient up to thousands of years, even surpassing Kobol history.Of course, that's not how it turned out after Season 4 aired, but it was a good theory for a while.
