obviously the 4k doesnt matter, Vimeo 4K bitrate is barely even 20Mbps. But scanning the film at 4K typically makes a massive difference, even with a ~1080p presentation, so theres probably a sizeable difference overall with the new scan

I would pay $20 to own a digital copy, not rent for 48 hours.

These are essentially festival rejects that have failed to find a distributor that only extreme cinephiles would care about. I think it is crazy that they think they can charge PVOD rates that blockbuster films still in theaters charge.

Before We Vanish is on tubi btw. Don't waste your money on some rental when it is available on tubi.

The pricing is genuinely ridiculous but it seems you can just VPN to Brazil to get them for a few dollars, then use yt-dlp to grab the Vimeo stream lol. A few of them are already up on private trackers
