Why don't zoomers care about movies? It's actually crazy that a $200 billion industry is going to be dead with a decade
>>

because movies keep telling them they're evil for being male
>>
Zoomers barely even care about video games. They only play online slop not single player traditional games. The movie and video game industries will be dead in a decade.
>>

Why aren’t movies being made that tell stories they might care about?

>Tik tok

What else do you need?
>>
It's not going to be dead. It's just going to be different. Radio hasn't gone away
>>

Youtubers and streamers are more interesting to them because theyre like surrogate friends in a world where everyone is isolated, and theyre always instantly accessible.

What a sad and pathetic existence. Hopefully the next generation can get their shit together.

Because the culture wars killed media for all but pockets of niche consumers. Any titles that slip through are in spite of the old regime, which is quickly being replaced by subscription services.

Netflix is to movies what big publishers are to books - the mass will become interchangeable slop aimed at the lowest common denominator while the pockets of artistry are able to continue being accessible to audiences because of that burgeoning mass of cattle. Same way music also works.

still? It's ok but I'm 29 and got bored of it within a few hours

They don't know how to make movies any more. Nobody in Hollywood today would be able to get a job sweeping floors in 1940.

Because the movies they make have been shit for decades.

>Netflix is to movies what big publishers are to books

speaking of books, did you know that not a single straight white male has been published in the scifi/fantasy genre by a major publisher in the past 10 years?
