I watched the birth of a nation 2016 film. It was really boring and forgettable. But what stuck out to me was how white men are protrayed as perverts who are constantly lusting after black women and rape them whenever they can. Is that historically accurate?
>>
was it intentionally titled that to try and one up the original? anyways love the old one
>>
>if the director hasn't been a rapist, this would be called a "modern classic" and shown in between mandatory Schindler's List sessions in mutt history class

It was actually pretty hilarious
>everyone knew the movie was shit but couldn't say anything because BLM and #oscarssowhite were in full throes
>turns out the director is a rapist, now the metoo progressive stack outweighs the BLM progressive stack and the movie gets memory holed
>>
more like birth of da rapists
