Your phone is still really fucking bright in a completely dark theater even on low brightness. Anyone behind you will see it.
The only reason you haven't had a movie ruined by this is because everyone who's sat in front of you has been considerate, or you've just been on your phone too much yourself.
Go sit at the back if you can't tear yourself from your phone for a couple hours.
