>it had a beginning, a middle, and an end (no endless milking of the well
>it was really just one movie broken up into two parts and the fans acknowledge the studio intervention and seem to treat it as one story, so all of that content from both movies gives it a much stronger presence
>the wide variety of ways people are killed
