Post the actual methodology of this study and you'll see that conservatives are just retards who can't follow simple instructions.

It's the old brain heat map. Circle 1 is you. Circle 2 your wife and kids or some such. Circle 3 extended family. Circle 4 local area. Etc etc. Then we reach the outer circles where it's plants and rocks and gasses in distant nebulas. The heat map tells you which of those things those people cared most about. A redditor cares more about a nebula then their own Mum. They'll try and say it doesn't mean that but look how they act vs their heat map and it all fits together like a puzzle. Or in their case a POZzle!
>>
>>216534680
How'd they get data and how much people care about my family?
>>
>>216534629
even if totally fabricated, it checks out in real life where libs are self-destructive human extinctionists
see: supporting progressivism, communism, trannies, islam, etc.

The directions for the survey state that each outer rings is also inclusive of the inner rings that precede it.

This is what almost everyone posting the pic in the OP doesn't know, or pretends not to.

Yes you care as much about your Mum as a cloud. You can try and reframe that as much as you want babe.

/pol/trannies misrepresenting a study to make da libruls look bad? unheard of
next you'll tell me the sky is blue
>>
>>216534720
But why would you care about rocks in distant nebula at all? If you care about everyone, you care about no one, including your family (which is why you trannify them and load them up with government debt and invite in the third world etc)

I don't think that was one of the categories. Assuming rocks (generally) are, then to the extent they're a natural resource, wasting them would be an unethical use of them (since they're plentiful it's moot though). Caring about jeets dumping plastic trash into the ocean applies the same principle.
Believing your moral circle only applies to you and your family is 'fuck you I got mine' as a moral framework.

reminder that all mass shootings in the US have been perpetrated by US citizens. if you're talking about senseless killings of children for no reason at all, you'd probably look at mass shootings and school shootings, so i think that is a relevant point that i just brought up, thank you for listening with an open mind and compassionate heart.

>A redditor cares more about a nebula then their own Mum.
This should be the clue that you have misunderstood the study. You see, the big circles also contain all the smaller circles.

Basically conservatives are borderline psychopaths who only care about friends and family. Liberals are more empathetic and care about humanity as a whole. And your friends and family are included in the category of humanity. This is why Conservatives will happily poison the air for more money while Liberals push environmentalism.
Conservatives think empathy is a zero sum game where if you care about brown people then you can't also care about your mother. This is because conservatives have precious little empathy to spare. They have to ration it, and can't understand that normal people don't need to do this.

Child's view of the world
Look how much you "care" about the Ukrainians. So much that they're all dying.
You claim to "care" so much about all these groups, while doing horrible things to them.
This is what happens when you try to have it all ways and equally 'love' every rock in the universe.
>>
>>216536731
This is also why Conservatives invent crazy conspiracy theories to explain why Liberals do empathetic things.
It couldn't possibly be that Liberals care about the lives of immigrants for example. No, it must be some kind of attempt to eradicate white people.
Conservatives simply can't understand that sort of kindness and have to reframe everything in terms of malice. That's the only way they can make sense of it.
>>
>>216536731
>care about humanity as a whole
the human brain isn't built for that

This is definitely the political opinion of a 20-year-old who learned politics from what the TV told him.

You don't actually have compassion for poor people in poor countries or you'd be trying to help them at home. Instead you want to import them as a servant caste because (You)'re not actually a good person.
>>
>>216536882
See, they don't think it's even possible to care about the human race.
They think we're making it up.
They assume everyone is evil like they are and struggle to make sense of kindness.

thank your for your rebuttals but i can see you are not interested in a sincere discussion. enjoy your weekend!

See, they have a conspiracy for everything.
They don't understand how someone could care about foreigners, so they have to find some way to interpret it as personal gain.
>>
>>216537047
What do you think you're doing when you take the best and brightest from these poor countries? You're ensuring they're forever shitholes where you can poach more people. You can pretend it's because you care so much but your actions demonstrate the opposite.
You claim climate change is bad but you want to cause more people to create more CO2 emissions.
It's like this with every issue. You're just a hollow liar and you think I'm weird for seeing through it after decades of believing the same disinformation.
You're like a child seeing a baby bird and you want to bring it inside not realizing it's mother will now reject it because it. You do only harm and zero good.

>liberals either too lazy to read the study, too stupid to understand it, or simply lying
Circles were not inclusive of inner groups, so participants allocating moral value to an outer group (the planet, non-living things, etc) were actively denying that value to inner groups (friends, family, local community). Apparently participants in this part were recruited through Amazon's Mechanichal Turk jeet farm, so I wouldn't put it past them to be too stupid to understand the instructions though.
