They're shot on digital *with as little effort and staging as possible, because they quickly film these movies and dump the footage to Indians in Mumbai who are really the ones who put together the movie in post-production. It's not like in the past where they carefully designed shots with unique techniques and perspectives, 90% of this shit is on a green screen now
