His performance feels very forced, and at times he doesn't come across as angry, but as some adrenaline junkie mocking the people trying to kill him. He lacks that inner rage entirely. Josh Brolin looks at you, and he exudes inner anger. Glen, on all posters and in many shots, looked like the literal meme of 'if only you knew how bad things really were'. They tried telling people how it was going to be exactly like the book, but at times (first trailer especially) it comes across as absurdism with overperformance. Also sucked that all action scenes were spoiled in the trailer and that in the end nothing really changes.
